परिशिष्ट pathetic nature (FEET) who take the suggestion and enjoy Th. The word of literally means "making manifest" (94121A). Manifestation implies that the thing to be made manifest already exists. But as has been said, te does not exist before it is experienced. Tho manifestation is of latent Bhavas in the mind of the hearer in the form of ca. So, making manifest simply means producing a feeling. Therefore, the use of the word व्यंजना in रसव्यंजना is nob very accurate. In रसाः प्रतीयंते the word प्रतीयते is to be taken in modified sense. As a matter of fact this produced, not made known. Though rhetoricians, adopting a dogmatic attitude maintain that this neither a (to be made known), nor FIT (to be produced ), the objection raised against the कार्यत्व of रस is not entertainable in the light of modern psychology.
