Lastly, we find several rhymes common between PC. and MP. used in the same context. With the common mythological sub- ject-matter allowing little variation even in details, and with the style and diction becoming increasingly standardized it is natural that we find numerous rhymes (over and above ideas, phrases and stylistic devices) common between such epics as PC. and MP. The. following few examples have been gleaned from the two works. PC.
