' असम्भवो हेमनुगस्य जन्म, तथापि रामो लुभे मृगाय । प्रायः समापन्न विपत्तिकाले, धियोऽपि पुंसां मलिनीभवन्ति ॥ ' - हितोपदेश मिरग चरी = मुग चरता था । Note:-- ' मिरग चरी' may refer to Rama's story ( cf. वन में विपति परी ) or may be taken independently. गिरगिट Symbol of change of colour or principle.
