111. Honorifie plural.

112. tathitstu is Sanskrit, eomposel of tuthi, "thus," and astu, 3rd pers. sing. in- Thus, samtiptam means “fully attained," perative of as, “ to be." It is, therefore, "Completed;" and is used sinuilarly to tire cquivalent to the English formula, “go be it."


123. Samaptam is the past participle of the Sanskrit verb ap "to attain" with the preposition ,Sam = con, giving a sense of com pletencess to the idea expressed by the verb.Thus samaptam means "fully attained" "completed;" and is used similarly to the Latin firis.
