विष्णु शास्त्री चिपलूनकर
का आदर करते हैं, उनको उनकी प्रिय अँगरेज़ी के कविशिरोमणि मिल्टन के वचनों का स्मरण करके भी तो लज्जित होना चाहिए। लैटिन भाषा मे विशेष प्रवीण होकर भी अपने देश की भाषा अँगरेज़ी ही की सेवा करना मिल्टन ने अपना धर्म्म समझा। यह बात उसने अपनी एक पुस्तक मे स्पष्ट लिखी है। उसे हम फुटनोट मे अविकल उद्धृत करते हैं[१]।
