only eight men in the present list, who can with certainty be identified in the preceding narrative; these are І, Màdhava, the Solanki, the kinsman of Sarang; No. І in the narrative (v.65) and No. 10 in the list. 2, Bhàn, the Pundîr, No. 4 in the narrative (v.68) and No. 12 in the list; 3, Màhlan, the Kürambh, the kinsman of Pahlan, No. 5 in the narrative (v. 69) and No. 9 in the list; 4, Kanak, the kinsman of Govind Abuttha, No. 6 in the narrative (v.71) and No. 2 in the list; 5, the kinsman of Narsingh, the Dahima, No. 7 in the narrative (v.72) and No. 6 in the list; 6, Sulakh, the kinsman of Jaitsingh, the Pramàr, No. 8 in the narrative (v.74) and No. 4 in the list; 7, Prathà, the kinsman of Ram, the Raghuvansi, No. 9 in the narrative v.76) and No. 3 in the list; and (probably) 8, Jait, the Gor or Garua, the kinsman of Govind, No. 2 in the narrative (v.66) and No. І in the list. Again there are two men in the present list, of whom apparantly no name whatever is given; viz. Nos. 5 and 7, whom I am inclined to identify with the Janghàr and the Lohàna, (v.v. 77 and 82 in the narrative) respectively. Lastly, there are three men in the list who bear different names from those given to them in the narrative. These are No. 6 Jalha, the Jàbala; No. ІІ, Rao Bhatti and No. 13 the kinsman of Rao Parsang, whom I incline to identify with the Langari Rai (v. 79), Jaisingh (v. 67) and Biddar (v. 83) respectively in the narrative."

दस हथ्थी सु बिहांन, साहि गोरी मुष किन्नौ।
कर अकासवादी ततार, सोर चवकोद सदिन्नौ॥
नारि गोर जम्बूर, कुहक बर बांन अघातं।
गज्जि भग्ग प्रथिराज, चित्त करयौ अकुलातं॥
सो मोह कोह बर बज्जि कें, ब्रज उन धार[१]धमंसि कैं।
